The opening ceremony of WHITE WALL exhibition took place on the 6 of september 2012, organized at Beirut Art Center in association with Fondation Saradar and a team of three curators,Charles Vallaud (France), Siska (Lebanon), and Don Karl (Germany)...
The main objective of this exhibition is to give new impetus to the Lebanese graffiti art.
Fourteen international artists, from Europe, North America, South America, together with artists from Egypt and Tunisia, with diverse visions and street art practices, have been invited to share their passion and experience. Beirut Art Center is hosting an exhibition, while the show will also continue in the streets of Beirut, creating a vibrant interaction between the exhibition's place and the city.
Nineteen Lebanon-based artists who had proved themselves in street art and graffiti scene, will participate in the various WHITE WALL activities and outdoor interventions throughout Beirut.
The names of the international artists and some pictures from their work: Ammar Abo Bakr and Aya Tarek (Egypt), Btoy (Spain), Graffitimuseum (Germany), Inti (Chile), L'Atlas(France), Mark Jenkins (USA), Obetre and Parole (Belgium), Reso, Tanc and Zepha (France).
